New momentum for golf: The Krämmer family takes over the fantastic golf course in Tarvisio from the Palfinger family
Golf Senza Confini Tarvisio golf course in new hands
The golf landscape in the border triangle of Italy – Slovenia – Austria is getting a fresh perspective: the entrepreneurial couple Petra and Reinhard Krämmer, both enthusiastic golfers and long-time members of the club, are taking over the picturesque Senza Confini Tarvisio golf course.
Tarvisio, December 17, 2024. “We are very pleased that this opportunity has arisen for us”, explains Reinhard Krämmer. “The Senza Confini golf course is a special place that combines golf, nature and Italian lifestyle. Our goal is to work with the team to continue the quality and unique character of the facility and the club.” The Krämmer family would like to thank the Palfinger family for their many years of effort on the golf facility.
Unlimited golfing pleasure
The 18-hole course, located at around 800 meters above sea level, was designed by the architect Marco Croze from Venice and offers many attractive challenges for every golfer. Amid the beautiful mountain panorama, sports enthusiasts can expect spacious fairways, optimal playing conditions, a charming clubhouse and an excellent restaurant. The golf course is only around 25 minutes by car from Villach and is a popular destination.
Continuity for members and employees
The course remains unchanged for members and employees of the Senza Confini Tavisio Golf Club. “We are already in the middle of preparations for the coming season and are looking forward to continuing the club’s success story,” emphasizes the Krämmer family.

Dear golf friends, please note that next Saturday, May 27th, 2023, the Giro d’Italia will take place with a mountain stage on Monte Lussari in Tarvisio. The town center will be closed to traffic from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. that day. The detour is via Via Priesnig. With such a major sporting event, limited parking facilities and traffic obstructions are to be expected.

Due to the onset of winter, the start of the golf season has been postponed by a few days – from Monday onwards the course is open
Season start 2023
From April 15th, the lower 9 holes will be playable and the secretariat will be occupied again, at the end of April we will open the upper 9 holes again. The greenkeepers are already busy. A brand-new fleet of carts will be available in good time. Tee-times can be reserved by e-mail already now.
Restaurant: Italian cuisine at its best and the finest wines
Reopening of the restaurant at easter: “A wonderful place, that’s exactly what I’ve been looking for for a long time,” enthuses Marco Da Rin Bettina, the previous chef de cuisine at the Mondschein restaurant in Sappada, which is well-known beyond the borders and who, together with his partner Elisabetta Pitton, a trained sommelier, take over the Golf Club Restaurant. The intensive preparations are already underway, the wine cellar is again home to selected wines.
